ENCATC Congress on Cultural Management and Policy

  • Prague Czech Republic (map)

In 2020, ENCATC will focus on the theme "Cultural management and policy in a post-digital world - navigating uncertainty".

The 28th edition of the ENCATC Congress will be collaborating with the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague to host the first-ever digital conference, and welcomes academics, trainers, and researchers from the cultural management and policy educational fields as well as professionals, policy makers and artists. Post-digital refers to a context where digitisation is embedded in all spheres of life and profoundly marks cultural shifts and ongoing mutations - the Congress aims to provide a space for encounter, to learn from leading experts, to get common questions and look for common answers that may help all actors in the cultural management and policy sphere navigate uncharted waters. The conference will discuss media convergence and audience development, education, cultural policy, ethics, digitisation, and business models in a post-digital context.
