A professional platform for Cultural Attachés
to connect, exchange and strengthen cultural diplomacy
London hosts one of the world’s most dynamic diplomatic and cultural ecosystems. With over 190 embassies, high commissions and national cultural centres, alongside world-leading museums, creative organisations and cultural institutions, the city offers unparalleled opportunities for international cultural exchange. Cultural attachés in London play a pivotal role in connecting nations through art, heritage, education and innovation. Yet, despite their shared mission, many operate independently, with limited opportunities for structured exchange, collective reflection and sustained collaboration. The London Cultural Attaché Circle has been created to respond to this gap by offering a trusted, neutral and professionally facilitated space for connection and dialogue.
The Circle aims to:
• Strengthen professional exchange and collaboration among cultural attachés and embassy cultural teams
• Build bridges between diplomatic missions, UK cultural institutions and the wider creative economy
• Share expertise and good practice in cultural diplomacy, public engagement and soft power strategy
• Promote London as a global laboratory for cultural cooperation.
