Organised by the European Heritage Association, The Best in Heritage is an annual conference featuring presentations by award-winning museum, heritage, and conservation projects.
The 19th edition of The Best in Heritage conference will be held digitally with the International Council of Museums, in partnership with Europa Nostra. Starting in late June and ending in September, a series of 42 interviews on YouTube with representatives of over forty laureates will be invited to elaborate on their achievements, which have been recognised by professional juries over the past year for their outstanding quality and innovation. Keynote talks by representatives of two “Projects of Influence” for 2019 from Russia and India will be released. The yearly conference publication will be made available in digital format.
